Aperi aperitivo and wine bar opens today inside Good Company in The Grove
The new concept aims to complement the elevated cocktail bar next door, as well as future offerings from partners Kyle Gilespie, Jordan Goodman, and Daisy Hudspeth.
Jordan Goodman’s wine and amaro bar Aperi opens in The Grove
The word "aperitivo" comes from the Latin aperire, meaning "to open." It refers to pre-meal drinks – like an Aperol spritz or classic Negroni – designed to whet your appetite for a good meal. Traditionally low in alcohol, aperitivos foster a culture that’s less about bar-hopping and more about long conversations shared over a meal with friends. This casual yet refined vibe is exactly what Good Company co-owner Jordan Goodman aims to create with Aperi, his European-style wine and amaro bar located next door to Good Company in The Grove.
Good Company will open aperitivo and wine bar Aperi in the Grove in mid-September
Goodman is keen to stress that Aperi will be very much its own bar: This is not a bar-within-a-bar concept. Aperi will have its own entrance, its own distinct feel and its own menus.
